Some people that drink too much get mean and take their aggression out on their friends and family members. This can be very scary and hard for people to deal with. Sometimes a person will have to find ways to stay away from a person with an alcohol addiction because it can mean a lot of heartache for them. Alcohol addictions are a comfort for many people because they use it as their crutch throughout life. They may use this as something that makes them feel better and gives them the power that they need to get through hard times. Without the alcohol some people may not know how to function on a regular basis in life. An alcohol addiction needs to be addressed as soon as possible so that a person can live the life that was intended for them.
